Dr. Black & Associates Optometrists is proud of our in-house glasses and lenses lab. We carefully check every pair of glasses using computerized instruments to verify that they match the specifications set by our doctors. Crafting your new eyewear on-site also allows us to get your new glasses to you faster.
Our staff will provide honest advice on the look and fit of each frame to help you find the perfect fit. Should your glasses ever require adjustments in the future, we are happy to assist, free of charge. When you come to us for new glasses, you’ll have access to our wide range of frames. We offer designer brands such as Prada, Armani, Harley Davidson and Kate Spade, with new styles arriving regularly. We also provide non-designer frames, so everyone can find the right pair that fits their style and budget.
Additionally, we offer a free 1-year warranty on normal wear and tear for both our designer and non-designer frames, as well as our lenses with coatings.
The On-site Lab Advantage
At our on-site lens laboratory, our team precision-crafts your prescription lenses to fit your new frames. Together with our wide range of in-stock single vision lenses, our lab provides a fast turnaround for new glasses. For most single vision lenses, you will receive your new glasses in less than a week.
Thanks to our on-site lab, we don’t need to ship your glasses to a repair facility. Most single vision lens replacements can be completed within an hour once your lenses are ready, so you don’t need to be without your glasses for an extended time. That means we might even be able to replace your lenses during your lunch hour!
