Dr. Black has more than 30 years of experience in optometry, graduating from the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in 1994 and Ferris State University in 1990.
In addition to running his practice, Dr. Black has supported different community initiatives, such as the Rotary Club of Oshawa, Simcoe Hall Settlement House, Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce, Oshawa Sports Hall of Fame, Durham Region Parkinson’s, and other non-profit organizations.
Dr. Black has provided vision care services to the Oshawa Generals hockey team, and he’s a proud supporter of Generals hockey. He speaks English and Portuguese.
